Just 10 days into the Thirty Day Challenge and I’m already hooked on the idea of becoming a serious internet marketer. I’ve found a number of people out there that have managed to make ridiculous sums of money online and I want a piece of the action.
Even though I’m still just a beginner learning the ropes, I’m jumping a head of the process.
Setting up the auto-deducting $100/week to use for investing in business ideas has probably been the best move I’ve ever made. Now I don’t feel guilty about purchasing a gadget or paying for hosting to try out a business idea that has the potential of a return on investment. As a result I’ve picked up a few domain names over the last couple of months and explored many different business ideas.
The next thing that I will be exploring further is going to be affiliate marketing. Looking around online there seem to be a handful of people that really understand how it works. These elite marketers make gobs of money from a variety of different sources and methods.
The book I’m currently reading is called The Long Tail: Why the Future of Business is Selling Less of More. It’s a brilliant book. Chris Anderson has changed my thoughts about how to be successful in business by finding niches. They are the future.
Getting a grasp of how to quickly create niche products and get them to market where people can find them will make many more people relatively more money. Right now is your chance to get ahead of the curve. As the market fragments away from bigger hits, it also gets opened up for regular people to get a piece of the pie.
By learning the techniques to market niche products and profit from them now, you’ll be well positioned to take advantage of the growing niche markets. That’s why over the next couple of months my focus is going to be on increasing my knowledge about affiliate marketing online.
